Building out and maintaining our existing projects
Integrating to third-party services and APIs
DevOps - helping to monitor and maintain both test and production environments
Maintaining the high standards of our codebase
Mentoring other team members
Software architecture e.g. web app components that support the Tillo ecosystem & developing new products to generate revenue
You are a technical professional and specialist in certain areas - if you don’t know the answer, you will go out and find it. You're able to delegate responsibilities, and support more junior engineers. Communication is hugely important to you, you encourage ideas from others and are open to changing your mind.
Essential experience:
Working with Laravel and developing object-oriented PHP
Understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and secure development principles.
Keeping documentation up to date
Working with high performance systems at scale
Writing automated tests - experience with Test-Driven Development
Desirable experience:
Familiarity with AWS services
Designing efficient SQL queries and schemas
Familiar working with Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with Python, Typescript, CI/CD, Kubernetes
